[i]~*The proclamation goes forth in the same day and the same hour. Sealed by the royal signet and bearing The Kings own signature*~

Be it known, that the slaves chastity and nimue are hereby claimed for the sole use of the King. As they are now claimed by Us, be it known that all the other slaves of Barbarus will do them honor and respect for amongst the slaves of Barbarus, they are now lifted above them both

Let it be known, that discipline will flow only from the hands of the King to those he claims as His. Lifting a hand to the two will be considered the same as striking us. Should either misbehave, We call upon you to speak with Us concerning it

He read the proclamation, even as it was being announced verbaly by a herald, for those whom could not read themselves (which, would have been anyone not noble, or at least not of the Faith like a monk say*L*)

The erstwhile ranger, now Count...general...but most of all, friend of Isidore...nodded his head quietly.

"That's done then. I'm glad."

He spoke quietly, to none but himself.

And turned, to return to the men under his lead, as they surrounded and observed the encampment of Eldar.

None to see either, the brief flicker of comingled regret and relief, that lit upon his features so briefly...A blink and it was gone.

He could not allow himself the luxery of love. Not now...And he doubted he'd live past the war with Zackfare. For he would lead full-heartedly, the soldiers assigned to him. He would hold nothing back. A man who has nothing to lose, is the man his enemies must fear the most. He could not love then.

But Isidore could. And he would need the strength of those who loved him in return. As a friend, Gregorick could and did. But Isidore would need more then his Brothers, more then those he could trust as friend. And if he now had chastity too, which was about damn time, then it was good. He had recognised both wenches. And they in turn, could give him what only a woman can, the peace and love of the fairer sex.

He had felt regret for what might have been with Nimue. But his relief for Isidore's sake was the stronger.

Dark eyes shifted then, to the men under his command. And to Eldar...whom would claim bethrothal rights to Lady deSpencer. This woud be taken care of first, and then...then his vengence finaly, and the return of Barbarus lands, when Zackfare felt the Dragon's-Strike of Isidore's army.
